This is my demo from an online event called Pastel Live in 2023. I can now release it to my Patreon channel too and I’m so glad because I loved creating this small demo. It is all about the vibrant colours and capturing intense lighting. But of course there is a little dog in there too and this adds a lovely focal point to the scene.
One of the main reasons I have always wanted to paint landscapes is so I can paint animals in a scene that tells a story. By keeping the painting small it encourages me to capture the essence of the place and not get distracted by small details.
At just one hour in total it’s a fast blast of colour and packed full of information with colour codes and narration guiding you from start to finish.
