Finished Painting

The following tutorial series covers just under 4 and a half hours. The narration in this demo will guide you through the full project using a limited palette.
It’s always difficult to paint a black and white animal without the colours getting contaminated. In this short demo I show you how to look for colour in both light and dark parts of the fur, and talk about how to keep those areas clean.
I loved painting this demo as it has a bit of everything, including those lovely big glossy eyes.
It’s a great piece to start with as you don’t need many colours. Below you will find the photo reference to work along with me. But click HERE to access a photo pack of the lemur which you can use to make your own composition.
