The following tutorial series covers under 3 hours. The narration in this demo will guide you through the full project using a limited palette.
This short demo was a lot of fun to create and I’m hoping you will have fun working along with me. As I often do with the smaller demos, I tried to loosen up and not focus on small details. The idea was to capture the mood of the piece and bring a bit of extra colour to quite a flat looking photo reference.
If you’re like me and you don’t take professional standard photographs to work from, this is a great way to inject some life and colour into your references and turn them into more exciting paintings.
