This series takes you step by step through quite a complex portrait aiming to break it down into manageable pieces. The first part shows you how to create an upholstered chair with a pattern and these techniques can be applied to any sort of patterned fabric.
The rest of the series goes into depth on the fur and creating the effect of side lighting, one of my favourite types of lighting to paint on a portrait.
