Finished Painting
This small study was my first experiment on UART paper. This paper is a sanded surface, great for accepting many layers of pastel. I talk about my experience on the paper throughout this tutorial and because it was a small painting, it’s a great one for you to paint along with me.
Hairy Maclary is my own little rescue dog. I have no idea what breed he is and he was a mess when I found him. This portrait was done about a year after I found him and he had finished his transformation into the hairy little man we know and love.
