Finished Painting
The following tutorial series covers just under 5 hours. The narration in this demo will guide you through the full project using a limited palette.
Another water themed demo, but hopefully one that will give you much enjoyment to work along with. While I wanted to focus on big waves in this demo, I couldn’t resist giving you something to create in the background.
This view of Dunluce Castle in Northern Ireland gives us a chance to explore creating depth and a sense of distance in the painting.
Then in the foreground waves I try to break those down and show you lots of tips for creating convincing foam and sea spray.
The full tutorial is approximately 5 hours so a little longer than most of the mini demos but the pace is relaxed as I chat while I work.
