The following tutorial series covers just over 3 hours. The full painting is available with colour coding and narration for full guidance.
This series looks at landscape techniques and will hopefully encourage you to experiment along with me. Trying different techniques is often a bit daunting, but I hope with my guidance throughout that you will take the plunge with me into the world of landscape painting.
The first video is from a couple of years earlier when I first tried to paint some Autumn scenes. Those small thumbnails were very helpful when trying to simplify what I can see.
Two years later I painted the image above and it’s this 3 part series that you will find most helpful here.
I encourage you to explore some thumbnail studies and then try to translate this into a larger painting.
