This series starts with an experiment in making thumbnail studies before starting to paint the final piece. I wanted to capture something different in the lighting in comparison to my usual vibrant colour choices.
Across the four parts you will gain an understanding of how I am analysing colour and choosing my palette. The colour differences are so subtle in this piece and the palette makes a beautiful, yet limited palette selection for capturing a dull bleak winters day.
