This little demo was a lot of fun to create. I have never painted something round before and I wanted to try and mask off a perfect circle. When choosing a suitable crop for my robin reference image I realised that a circle looked much nicer than a square or rectangle. So it was the perfect small painting to try out something different.
I take you right through the whole process including how I created a crisp edge to my circle. I hope you will enjoy this one as much as I did!
