Finished Painting
The following tutorial series covers just under 12 hours. There are key parts with colour coding and narration, and some extra parts which show footage only.
This painting included one of my most complicated backgrounds. Leaves are always something I have found difficult and I’ve never been a fan of painting trees. So in this series I talk you through my thought process and how I tackle elements that I find more difficult.
I also talk about how I pieced this composition together from several photographs and imagination to create something that is more than just a copy of a photo.
I have lots of tutorials about animals, but in this series I really aim to give you the tools to tackle landscape backgrounds with confidence.
