Finished Painting
In this series I go into detail on how I use complementary or opposite colours to achieve realism. In this painting I use yellow and lilac throughout and I talk about how that enhances the 3D effect within these tutorials.
I’m always trying to show you the theory, but then also demonstrate how you can actually use it in your paintings. This is the perfect painting to use to talk about complementary colours as you will hopefully see.
The first two parts are colour coded and narrated to give you full guidance and talk about my process. The last part lets you watch the remainder of the dog in real time.
